Project Description
This project consisted of modifications to the existing surface water sewers, including provision of 2 nr. Storm overflow manholes, modifications to the existing pumping station, construction of a new rising main (approximately 3km long of polypropylene pipe in tidal, all at levels below mean high tide) from the existing pumping station to the proposed new waste water treatment facility, construction of a new waste water treatment plant with associated outfall (included the laying of a 400 millimetre diameter pipe 160 meters out to sea) and diffuser and the laying of a water main.
